I balloted a space at a flea market on 8th Jan to sell 2nd-hand goods @Clarke Quay, a tourist spot. A friend shared the rental with me to sell old clothes, accessories and toys etc. The day started bad as it was raining heavily and it would affect our business.. We were expecting better crowd as it is around the holiday season (post-xmas, new year and the coming chinese new year). However, the crowd is a bit disappointing and we have many competitors selling similar goods.
Nevertheless, we ended the day earning over 60 bucks each less the rental ;) well, not too bad but it wasn't really worthwhile the time and effort though.. rather, it was just for fun.. 8hrs at the stall, with my younger sister's accompany and help. Anyway, this is the 2nd time we sell goods there and we know how it is like.
