This year's National Day (8th Aug) was much celebrated with several fireworks displays again :) I went with a pal to Marina Square to catch a glimpse of the 15min fireworks display on the Eve. Gosh.. there were tonnes of people packed from City Hall MRT to Suntec, Marina Sq & the Esplanade! Shouldn't have chosen to take the underground shopping tunnel (Citylink Mall) ^_^
On the roads, ease of traffic was disrupted due to the massive groups of pedestrians. For once, cafes and restaurants (even the expensive ones) were 100% filled. I'd a hard time getting out of the place & finding a decent cafe/restaurant for a drink (to rest my feet)..
