Silent Hill: storyline is quite unique but a bit confusing - I realised the mom & daughter were dead at the very end of the movie.. not very scary, just a fair bit of excitement running around getting chased by dangerous creatures.
The OMEN: the '666' idealogy, making the film a bit spooky due to deaths by unknown causes (associated with Satan). The rise of the anti-Christ by a newborn boy, adopted by an American diplomat. Is he (Satan's reborn) just eyeing for power/fame/wealth.??
Hostel: Definitely not for the faint-hearted.. for its gross contents; visually & verbally =) This movie will freak you out! It portrayed a bad image of backpacking, esp. at some european countries - you wanna know where? watch it for yourself, hee..Grab a DVD coz it's no longer showing at cinemas. Give it a miss if you hate to watch torturing scenes or cannot stand bloody scenes; there are tonnes! Well, I reckon it's a good opportunity for parents to dissuade their kids from backpacking ;)
SLITHER: this is a very lousy movie; one of the worst I've ever seen.. Meaningless storyline and too many gross creatures (and those slimy creepy crawlies..)
Scary Movie 4: just as crappy as part 3. A re-make of various movie scenes (combination), adding some stupid/silly humour and most of the time, making no sense at all :( wasting $$$...
