Last weekend, my Secondary School (Outram), organised a carnival to celebrate its 100th anniversary. Wow.. I graduated from Outram 10 years ago for my polytechnic education, and I always remember our slogan: LABOR OMNIA VINCIT
I didn't manage to spot many of my teachers though - most of them left.. faded with memories. I find teachers of those days better and teaches with their hearts/love; teachers of today teaches for a job as schools become more commercialised - i suppose..The school buildings had been demolished and rebuilt. Now the compound is very stylish and modern-looking with many facility areas. Well, all new schools nowadays are designed and built with technology/modern concept. Oh, our swimming pool and squash courts are still left intact ;)
